Laboratory exploration of bacteriophages — viruses that infect bacteria — including isolation and characterization.
A coursework project centered on the isolation and study of bacteriophages from environmental samples. The work introduced fundamental concepts in microbiology and viral biology.
Phages were isolated using standard plating techniques, with plaque assays used to assess infection of host bacteria. Samples were prepared for further morphological analysis.
The project provided foundational experience in microbiology lab techniques. Detailed results to be added.
